Brand Identity + Design
Hempire is a small batch, craft brewery based in Byron Bay. The kombucha – or ‘booch’ as it is affectionally known – is sold as a herbal tonic or mixer in alternative supermarkets and health food stores across.
Owner and brewer Stephanie had a clear vision for Hempire, requesting a vintage tattoo inspired aesthetic to align with the adventurous and rebellious ethos of Hempire.
An illustrated pirate mascot was created, to be used as the primary brand mark. This style informed the design of her secondary product, Hemp Ginger Beer, which features an illustrated character channeling the great Amelia Earhart.
Natural papers and card were chosen for packaging and print materials, in line with the organic and homemade nature of the brand.
All assets were created digitally in Adobe Illustrator, with finishing in InDesign and Photoshop dependent on application.
